This two session workshop will introduce participants to hand building fundamentals while allowing participants to individually explore their interests. Participants may have an idea in mind of what they’d like to sculpt with clay or they can show up ready to be inspired. You will have the support of Signature Arts’ clay artist, Rita Panton. You will have a chance to explore surface decoration and add color by glazing and your art will be fired to cone 04 in the kiln.
Earthenware clay, ceramic materials, and tools are provided. Feel free to contact ritapanton@gmail.com with questions. Clay studio is appropriate for any level of experience with clay. Ages 12+.
